The segment was marked with bold velvets, gold threads, pastels and inspiring lattice work delineated with heavy gold embroideries. Shehla used a combination of maroons, greens, blacks and pastels with intricate accessories to garnish the ramp. Velvet khusaas and embroidered clutches were the hallmark of the day. From lattice backed blouses and dupattas to velvet off-shoulders with wide hand sleeves to velvet shalwar pants, everything was dipped in profound embellishment and ornate.
The black leather skirt with subtle gold work and a garishly embroidered blouse worn by Hira Tareen had the audience gape in awe.
Sabika Imam ignited the ramp with her sleek saunter in black and gold lehenga soaked in meticulously detailed gold thread work.
Finally, Ayesha Omer wrapped the segment with an extremely edgy bridal of its own kind. The bold green velvet with gold work and royal ornaments performed in tandem with the golden lattice printed lehenga comprising of classic handmade embroidery. Shehla has undoubtedly glistened the ramp with her extra-ordinary winter/bridal collection in the name of ‘All the Raj’ which delivered the right amount of grandeur and grandiosity. One hell of an opening we would say!
