For foodie Friday with MS we today have a recipe of very delicious Orange Chicken.
Take 1 chicken breast and cut in cubes. Marinate it with salt, pepper and 2 tbs cornflour for half an hour.
Prepare a batter with 3 tbs flour, 4 tbs corn flour, ½ tsp black pepper, salt, egg, red chili flakes, baking powder 1 tsp, mix well…add in little water…now add the marinated cubes and keep t aside for 10 minutes…now deep fry the cubes and keep aside.
In a wok add oil, add 1 small chopped onion.
Fry it till it becomes translucent, now add salt, black pepper to taste, vinegar 2 tbs, ketchup 3 tbs, soy sauce 3 tbs, chili sauce 2 tbs, red chili flakes half tsp, half cup water and cook for some time. Now add ¾ cup fresh orange juice .
When it boils, add cornflour dissolved in water, when it thickens add cubed capsicum and chicken cubes.
Let it simmer for some time.
Garnish with green onion.
Serve with egg fried rice.
