Recently Masarrat Misbah held a ‘Masarrat Misbah Makeover Activity’ that was held on 2nd and 3rd January, 2016 at Dolmen Mall Clifton. Our super cute internee Mariam Saleem covered this fun event for Highlife Shenanigans. A complete makeover was being offered to everyone who spends over Rs. 3000 at the mall. In addition to that, free product testing was available for everyone who walked into the kiosk. The thing I loved the most was the welcoming attitude of every MM representative. All of them were thoroughly professional and very kind to every customer. I stayed there for more than an hour and saw many ladies completely enjoying themselves testing the products, feeling pretty.
The main aim of the activity as explained by the very humble and amazing representative of the MM Brand – Hafsa, was to have a one on one interaction with the clients and educate them about the HALAL cosmetic alternative available to them. She explained that activities as such give the customers the kind of confidence which prompts them to come back and buy the product. Now let’s talk about the guru herself – Ma’am Masarrat Misbah – or Masarrat Appaa as everyone adoringly addresses her. She is a complete darling; being a legendary makeup guru and pioneer of Halal Cosmetics in Pakistan she is so humble and so nice to everyone. She gladly clicked pictures with me (to be honest I was acting like a complete ninny, totally star-struck and awed by her) and gave me her time to ask as many questions as I wanted. She was also patiently imparting skin care and grooming advises vt5007Ato everyone asking.
She patiently explained to me about how it took as almost two and a half years to get her brand a Halal Certification. Her products are completely free of parabens and other harmful ingredients showing her commitment to ‘Pure Beauty’. You can find all about her brand and products on her website: http://www.masarratmakeup.com/.
I tried on Liquid Lipstick in Fuschia Rouge which I absolutely loved. It has some serious staying power, I wore it for 4 hours plus and had coffee and ice-cream; it didn’t budge an inch. No fading whatsoever. I also observed the Silk Foundation being applied on some clients and actually saw their dark circles and discoloration being covered completely; the representative claimed that you don’t need a concealer with it. I would definitely love to try the foundation myself.
Ok folks, that’s all from my side. Take care until next time.
