YO GLOW – ENZYME SCRUB by HUDA BEAUTY
I caved in and finally bought Huda Beauty Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub and to be honest I am not quite happy with my new skincare purchase, though it looks pretty gorgeous & bright on my skincare shelf but performance wise it was it was just okay.
The product is described as “a skin changing exfoliator with glowing results”
Let’s talk about the texture, it is grainy gel and easy to apply plus you don’t need a lot of product to see the results. The product have a very light scent to it, the formula is also very mild, too mild for my taste. In one of Huda’s video, she says that ‘dead skin cells’ are shredded by this scrub. Let me clarify, this is not the case. Once the gel touches the skin the cellulose balls starts foaming & you feel that your dead skin is coming off but it isn’t dead skin, it’s just your skin oil mixed with gel that makes these clumps, there may be some dead skin cells too.
The scrub makes my skin visibly bright & smooth but does not do heavy duty exfoliation that I prefer. Plus its travel friendly the packaging is gorgeous and little goes a long way. In my opinion Huda Beauty Wishful YO GLOW Enzyme Scrub is overpriced & it does the same job that a lot of other cheaper peels do. I do not see myself buying this product again after finishing this one off.
